I hope you join me in this experience–
a chance to engage with me and others in active research—disentangling, investigating and putting into physical practice individual strands from the tangled web of approaches to dance and performance that are twined into my being as a choreographer through 25 years of dance-making in New York, Mexico and Portland.
The workshop is a mixture of dancing, creation, discussion, and more dancing. We will look at historical sources (photos, books, video) that may include my work as well as others. Don’t worry–you will move! Guest artists such as Cydney WIlkes, Linda K. Johnson, and some cool surprises down the road.
